In the summer of 2013 I became interested in tasting, consuming and enjoying whisky. This soon developed into a collection as I acquired more bottles than I could drink. This website serves as a list of what I have. For each bottle I have gathered together reviews and tasting information so I have one point of reference when I finally come to drink the whisky. This saves me having to troll the Internet in search of the information. Visitors may also find this useful. Occasionally I include my own tasting notes but that isn’t the reason for the website. I leave whisky reviewing to the many others that enjoy it. Whisky Den is my own one-stop shop for their whisky review information.

A lot of information on Scotch Whisky 🙂 Thanks. Will keep visiting your blog from time to time for reviews of other Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, glad to have found your blog
Thanks! 🙂 Glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed my blog! Drop by any time! 🙂
Hi.
I really like your website. I’m a big fan of whiskey in general. So much so we’ve started sourcing and aging coffee beans in whiskey barrels. Any chance you would be up for reviewing our coffee for your blog readers? I can send out some free samples to you. Awesome site by the way.
Let me know.
Thanks.
John
Hi John!
Thanks! And I’m very glad you like my site. Sadly I’ll have to pass on the coffee offer. I’m not that big a fan of it but it certainly sounds interesting! I wish you every success with your bean brewing, and carry on enjoying your whiskey!
Hi,
Ive recently saved a small (8) collection of Japanese miniatures from the bin and I know nothing about them, alongside a couple of miniature Scotch whiskeys. One of the Japanese bottles is featured on your blog – Nikka Gold&Gold – so I figured you may be able to help me gather a little more info on them regarding age and value if you had the time available as I have no knowledge in this area whatsoever!
Hope to hear from you 🙂
Hi Sophie!
I only know what you see on my blog, which is quite limited. Your best bet for information is to search on Whiskybase.com, which might give you bottle ages and reviews. For prices I always look at auction websites where you can search through previous sales. The one that sells the most miniatures in the UK is whisky-onlineauctions.com. If you can’t find info on one or two of your minis then you can always email the auction sites for a valuation.
Good luck!
What a great little site. Thanks for taking so much time making it really easy for me to compare Ardbegs side by side for example, really helpful. Slainte
Thanks Grant! You’re welcome. Keep enjoying those Ardbegs and drop by any time!
Hi friend,
I want to tell you something about your review of Argentinian “breeders choice” whiskey and your comment that this whiskey is for persons with children. It’s nothing about that. The Breeders refers to a breeder of cattle, specially horses or cows you’ll know? So my friend of course you can drink this whisky my man,
Best regards from Chile
